• Welcome to our Pilates studio.

We are glad you are here.

  • We offer a NEW PILATES STUDENT PACKAGE that consists of 3 private Pilates sessions at a discounted price.

These sessions with your teacher are designed to start teaching you the basics. Please pay for these sessions today and a teacher will contact you within one business day to get you on the schedule! We can not wait to start with you!

If you are brand new to the Pilates method and you have finished our introductory package of 3 private sessions for new students, you might be ready! You are never going to know everything, but together we can decide if moving forward into a group setting is right for you. If you decide that privates or semi-privates with a friend are better suited for you for now, then we are happy to get you on the books. Your call!

We are now offering a weekly Pilates Foundations Group Class. What a perfect spot if you are brand new!

  • Pilates is a learning process involving concentration, balance, control, precision, memory, coordination as well as strength and mobility. Think of our studio as your classroom for learning these things…and the learning is a life time commitment. It was designed to be taught and learned as a system of movement that changes your ability to handle the demands of life outside of the studio. We also teach a lot of other cool movement strategies.

Feel confident that our teachers keep your unique needs top priority during your sessions.

You will be heard and seen where you are, but will be challenged appropriately so you can get stronger and feel better!

Small groups and personalized sessions insure that you get the attention you need.

Our team are all comprehensively trained Pilates teachers (600 hour program) and have personal experience and perspectives as movers.

We know and continue to learn about the human body. We want to put out the highest quality Pilates teaching to the residents of East Texas.

We are not a group reformer based studio. Our business model mainly consists of private and semi-private sessions, with a handful of group Pilates equipment classes on the schedule to supplement your existing practice.

  • Our mission is best accomplished when we can offer you a personalized education about your body and how to make it stronger.

We are blessed to offer a stocked classical Pilates studio with the many different apparatus that Mr. Pilates invented.

To supplement your current practice, we offer several really fun group classes open to those with prior Pilates equipment experience.

For your success and the success of others in a group class, it’s best that you not have any major pre-existing conditions or injuries that would make following the flow of a class a frustrating experience.

The Pilates equipment has quite a few moving parts and pieces like springs, straps, gear bars, handles, bars, headrests, boxes and other small details that are great to have a base of knowledge of.

We want everyone in our 4 person group classes to feel safe, start the process of learning equipment set up, and any progressions or modifications for their body before they jump in.

Each group class will be taught on different apparatus with a different focus or theme depending on who is participating that day. It’s like a playground!

Please contact us if you have any questions about our Pilates classes!

  • Please wear something that you feel comfortable in that does not restrict your movement. You’ll find yourself in different positions, so you’ll be glad you chose something that is not flowy or too baggy. It’s nice if the teachers can see how your body is moving so that they can suggest any necessary adjustments in your alignment. So think things like, athletic tights and a stretchy t-shirt and tank top.

Guys, tighter fitting bike shorts are always a great idea if you like wearing gym shorts to class.

If you have long hair, please tie it back away from your face.

Please, no bulky jewelry, watches, or belts.

We don’t require socks in our studio. Our teachers really like seeing your whole foot including your toes, because even those tell a story about how you move!

If you are coming to a TRX or general movement session, please wear tennis shoes.

  • Booking + Cancellation

Appointments for all classes are made through our website. Click on the "services" tab to find a class, or click on "team" to find the the teacher you need. We keep our class sizes small to make sure everyone gets personal attention, so you will need to pre-register and pay on line 12 hours before your class begins. There is a 24-hour booking + cancellation policy that applies to all classes, private and semi-private sessions. If you do not cancel a minimum of 24 hours prior to your session, you will be charged the full fee.  This new policy allows our teachers plenty of time to see if their group classes will make and plan their schedule accordingly. This also means that you will need to book your classes through Acuity within that 12 hour window. If you find yourself needing a class, but did not sign up in time, please contact your teacher directly to see if there is room and we will register you. We want you to take the classes you need, but also need time to accomodate folks on the waiting list. Teachers are subject to change occasionally. Any teacher substitutions will be marked on Acuity as soon as the change has been made.

  • To register and pay for group Pilates equipment classes and packages and TRX and barre classes and packages, please pay through the website. Because our team members are independent contractors, you will pay your personal Pilates and movement teachers directly. They accept cash, check, Venmo, Square, or credit cards. Prices listed are subject to change. Payment is due before class is taken.

All 6 class packs for TRX and BARRE and 4 class packs expire after 90 days from the date of purchase and are non-refundable and non-transferable.  Drop-in fees expire within one week of purchase. Private and semi-private packages expire at the discretion of the individual teacher.

  • We will always ask your permission first before taking a photo or video of you for any reason. We also will always ask your permission before we post your likeness on social media, print materials, or our website.

This is a learning environment first. Social media is super fun and can be useful, but our main focus is on your experience and the experience of other students that are sharing the space. We ask that if you are taking photos or videos inside of the studio, that no other clients are in your images without their permission. You may capture short segments of your session to share or post or help with your homework. We love that you love being with us, so if you post on your social media account, please tag us @studiobtyler!

There are three security cameras inside of our studio located in public areas. Our cubby storages, the group movement room, and the Pilates studio are all monitored by a system that keeps information available to us in case of an emergency or discrepancy. These images are not for public use.

We occasionally will ask if those who are involved in a teacher training program can observe Pilates sessions in our studio. This is a mandatory and valuable learning tool for the next generation of teachers going through a rigorous program. Your teacher will always tell you if there is someone discreetly getting their observation hours while you are working with us.

  • We kindly ask that you turn off your cell phone when you enter the studio.  If you are expecting an important call, please keep your phone on vibrate and take your call privately, away from the class.

Please store your personal belongings & shoes in the provided cubbies. We can not be responsible for anything left behind, so please avoid bringing in valuables.
